Trieux Estuary and coastal forest at Penhoat-Lancerf

Situated at the confluence of the rivers Trieux and Leff, the coastal forest of Penhoat-Lancerf (1450 acres) is an area of great interest for conservation of flora, fauna and landscape. From the footpaths there are varied views of inland countryside, the Château de la Roche Jagu and as far as the mouth of the Trieux estuary.
The Trieux also has its place in the history thanks to the Maison de l'Estuaire famous through the "Seznec murder case".
