The Kergrist chapel
Pierre Le Cor, friend of "My brother Yves"from Pierre Loti, lived in the village of Kergrist on the road to Lézardrieux. The chapel near which you will found a calvary that was sculptured with shinbones, a skull and crossbones is worth a visit. You can also see one of the three well-known sculptured retables in Brittany that represents the Virgin Mary lying down. It dates back to the 18th century. There is also a polychrome wood entombment dating back to the 16th century.
The Lanvignec chapel
Surrounded with its partly disused graveyard, this chapel was an important religious centre before the French Revolution. In 1832, a cholera epidemic caused the death of fifty people. A common grave was dug and a plaque on the pediment commemorates the occurrence.
Temple de Lanleff
A strange circular Romanesque church which was a puzzle to archaeologists for many years.
At some distance from Kérity, the village of Sainte-Barbe is dominated by an 18th century chapel.
